Vote-Buying Causes Violence in Kano Polling Unit

Reports reaching THE WHISTLER say violence broke out in a polling unit in Bichi town in Bichi LGA.

Trouble started after some people stormed the polling unit sharing money to voters. Agents of other parties attempted to confront those buying votes and it degenerated into violence among party agents and supporters.

But reports say electoral materials were not torched by the violence .
