INEC Server: ‘Sue Me, I’ll Foot Your Legal Bill,’ Omokri Challenges INITS

Former presidential, Reno Omokri, and the founder of INITS Limited, Femi Taiwo, have continued to exchange words on social media over the latter’s alleged development of a server used by the Independent National Electoral Elections (INEC) for electronic transmission of the 2019 presidential election results.

Omokri has in the last couple of days been releasing documents and other information to prove that INEC allegedly transmitted results into a server during the 2019 elections, even though the electoral body has denied the claim.

The former presidential aide, who is an agent of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), had revealed Taiwo as the IT expert whose firm allegedly created the server INEC used during the poll.

But Taiwo swiftly denied the allegation, saying the only role his firm played during the 2019 election was to “report on the accreditation of voters and it is a fact we have never hidden.”

Omokri, however, challenged INITS and the IT expert to sue him “If he and his company are not behind the server that was deleted.”
