Why I Visited Buhari At Aso Rock – Soyinka

This is the first time the renowned professor would be visiting Buhari since his assumption of office on May 29, 2015.

Soyinka arrived the villa at about midday and went straight to the president’s office for the meeting.

Speaking to journalists after the meeting, Soyinka said he had come to “discuss national and international matters, general matters, that’s all”.

When asked for further details, he said he would hold a press conference in about a week’s time.

“You can ask me any question then, but now, please I will just like to get away,” Mr. Soyinka said.
