World Cup Qualifiers: Eagles Drawn In Pot 3

The Super Eagles of Nigeria has been drawn in Pot 3 in a tricky 2018 World Cup qualifying group.

This means the Super Eagles could face a tough test against either of Algeria, Cote d’ Ivoire, Tunisia, Ghana or Cameroon.

In the draws made on Sunday, Egypt, Algeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana and Senegal were drawn in Pot 1.

Tunisia, Cape Verde, DR Congo, Guinea and Cameroon were placed in Pot 2.

Nigeria, seeking to qualify for a sixth World Cup was drawn alongside Congo Brazzaville, Morocco, Mali and South Africa in Pot 3.

The draw for the World Cup qualifiers will be staged in Cairo, Egypt, on June 24.

The qualifiers will be played in a mini-league format from October to November 2017. The teams will be divided into five groups of four teams with the winners of each group qualifying for Russia 2018.
