You’re A Master Of Letters, NNPC Chief Applauds Adeniyi

The Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mallam Mele Kyari, has congratulated Olusegun Adeniyi for his new achievement as a fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Letters.   

Serving as the current chair of the editorial board of ThisDay newspapers, Adeniyi is a Nigerian journalist and a former presidential spokesman for the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua.

In a tweet, Kyari applauded  Adeniyi’s conferment saying it is “Indeed a profoundly deserved recognition” as he is evidently a master of the letters appreciated by many.

On his own part, the Executive Secretary, Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI), Waziri Adio described Adeniyi  as one of the leading journalists, and a high priest of the commentariat.

Established in 1974, the Nigerian Academy of Letters is a National Academy and apex body of arts and literature in Nigeria. It is an autonomous, scholarly and non-political state institution for advancing scholarship and public interest in the humanities at the highest level in Nigeria.
