Zamfara FGGC’s Bread Can Compete Globally -Minister

The Federal Ministry of Education has endorsed the bread being manufactured at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Zamfara State.

In a bid to promote local content patronage, the ministry stated that the school’s bread could compete globally with others.

This was contained in a press statement by the ministry’s spokesperson, Ben Bem Goong,
and floated on its Facebook page on Monday.

“Ahead of the launching of the Better Education Service Delivery For All (BESDA) program in Zamfara State, Minister of state for Education, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba says the quality of bread being produced by the Bakery of the Federal Govt Girls College Zamfara is a delicacy that can sell anywhere in the world, describing it as a high-quality bread,” it stated.

According to Nwajiuba, “Give me this bread in Abuja, and I will be good to go with my breakfast…”

The minister also lauded the school’s management for keeping the institution in shape.

“Taking time off to inspect facilities at the Federal Govt Girls College Zamfara, the Minister praised the Principal of the college, Hajia Adama Danbazau, describing her as a woman of high profile taste, given the way and manner she has maintained
the facilities in her school.

“The Minister was particularly happy with the beautiful landscaping, massive tree planting, and general cleanness of the school,” the statement read.
