3,000 NASS Staff Protest Non-Payment Of Salaries

No fewer than 3,000 legislative aides to Senators and members of the House of Representatives are currently protesting at the National Assembly.
The aggrieved staff are protesting the non-payment of salaries and allowances owed them.

It was learnt that the aides are accusing the lawmakers of owing them several months of entitlements.

According to them, the salary arrears has made it difficult for them to meet their basic needs, hence, the need for a protest.
