Biden Repeals Trump’s Transgender Military Ban To Fight Discrimination

The administration of the United States President, Joe Biden, believes that no one should be stopped from enlisting in the military due to their sexual orientation, claiming that it negates America’s “core values.”

The White House, in a tweet on Monday confirmed that Biden had repealed the transgender ban policy instituted by former president Donald Trump.

“President Biden fulfilled another crucial pledge, repealing the transgender military ban to ensure everyone who’s qualified to serve in the military can do so openly and free from discrimination,” it stated.

The administration promised to wield power in line with the constitution.

“President Biden believes that gender identity should not be a bar to military service, and that America’s strength is found in its diversity.

“This question of how to enable all qualified Americans to serve in the military is easily answered by recognizing our core values.”

“Allowing all qualified Americans to serve their country in uniform is better for the military and better for the country because an inclusive force is a more effective force.

“Simply put, it’s the right thing to do and is in our national interest,” it stated.

Prior to his election victory, Biden had vowed to give a voice to LGBTQ community.

THE WHISTLER had reported that he appointed an openly transgender American, Dr. Rachel Levine, to serve as Assistant Secretary for Health at the Department of Health and Human Services.

Pete Buttigieg, a gay, currently works as the State Secretary of Transportation.
