BREAKING: Stella Oduah, Ex-Minister Facing N5bn Corruption Case, Dumps PDP For APC

Former Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, has reportedly dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Oduah, who is the current senator representing Anambra North, crossed to the ruling party on Thursday.

The senator’s defection came ahead of the November 6 Anambra governorship election.

She was officially received to the APC by Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, who is also the party’s caretaker committee chairman, reports TVC.

The senator is expected to work for Andy Uba, the governorship candidate of the APC in the Anambra election.

Oduah is currently facing charges bordering on money laundering to the tune of N5 billion.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is prosecuting the senator alongside Chinese construction firm, CCECC, and six others.
