Coronavirus: Lagos Govt Confirms Safety Kits Donation From NYSC
The Lagos State Government has confirmed the donation of safety kits by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Lagos Chapter.
The state disclosed this in a tweet on Wednesday.

The Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations, Tayo Bamgbose-Martins, who received the donation, lauded the agency for the gesture, adding that it would be channeled towards preventing the spread of covid-19.
He also called on well meaning Nigerians and organizations to assist the government in its drive at ensuring the state was free from the pandemic.
He also urged residents to show more understanding for the extended restriction order, stressing that it was for the benefit of the country.
On his part, the Coordinator, NYSC, Lagos State, Eddy Megwa, said the items were donated in support of the State’s efforts at warding off COVID-19.

He added that corps members had the capacity to produce the safety kits at a cheaper rate for the government.
