Nigerians in Dallas have also lent their voices to the campaign and are scheduled to meet on Sunday by 5 pm at Aso Rock, Dallas.

International media organisations, celebrities and footballers have shown their support to the campaign, calling on the Nigerian government to reform its police system.

The Nigerian government has, however, reacted to the outrage by calling for calm and assuring that errant cops would be made to face the law.

President Muhammadu Buhari’s reactions came days after some prominent Nigerians demanded he addressed the nation on the rising cases of allegations against SARS operatives.
