Euro 2020: Turkey Close To Elimination After Losing To Wales

Turkey are a step away from elimination after they lost their second Euro 2020 game at Baku, Azerbaijan.

Turkey came into the game against Wales in the Group A challenge, hoping that the crowd would give it a win over Wales.

But for the Turkish side, the match which ended 1-0 in favour of Wales complicated their Euro 2020 ambition.

Wales found the back of the net after a pass from Gareth Bale was converted by Aaron Ramsey.

The second goal came at the last minute of the extra time from Connor Roberts. The assist came from Bale.

Turkey had lost 3-0 to Italy in the group’s  first game on June 12 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

Wales currently are leading the table with 4 points while Italy are following closely with  three points and Switzerland have one point.
