Few Weeks After Death Of Mother, Sister, NNPC GMD, Baru Loses Son

The Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr Maikanti Baru, has lost his son.
Baru’s son died in Dubai, it was reported Thursday evening.
Meanwhile, the NNPC boss, in April lost his mother, Hajiya Fatima Baru, who died in her hometown of Misau in Bauchi State.

Also, Baru’s sister had died weeks ago on the eve of his trip to Houston, Texas United States, for the OTC conference.
Last year, guests attending his daughter’s wedding died in an accident.
The victim’s family and relatives were inconsolable after they were informed about the son’s death.
According to our sources who pleaded anonymous, the late Baru was humble and soft spoken.

The family is yet to give official statement regarding the loss.
