Gareth Bale Returns to Tottenham on Loan

Wales Captain, Gareth Bale has completed a load move back to his former club Tottenham Hotspur from Spanish side Real Madrid.

The Welsh forward left the North London club for 85 million pounds to Madrid, a world record fee seven year ago.

A Twitter statement from the clubs handle said:” we are delighted to announce the return of @GarethBale11 on a season-long load from Real Madrid.”

The 31 year old will wear the number 9 jersey and will fit in well in Jose Morinho’s front man attack that will feature Harry Kane and Heung-min Son.

Bale had a superb trophy laden stay at Madrid, which includes two La Liga titles, two UEFA Super Cups and three FIFA World Club Cups, and contributed 105 goals in 251 appearances.

Tottenham hotspur declared Bale won’t be available till after the international break in October

“Gareth sustained a knee injury whilst playing for Wales on international duty earlier this month and this together with La Liga’s later start compared to the Premier League means he has had a limited pre-season. We currently anticipate that he will be match fit after October’s international break.”
