Gunmen Abduct Zamfara APC Chairman
The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Gamji ward of Bakura Local Government Area of Zamfara State, Sani Dangwaggo, has been abducted by unknown gunmen.
This was confirmed in a statement on Wednesday by the Spokesman of the police in the state, Muhammed Shehu.

According to Shehu, the incident happened around 11pm on Tuesday night at his residence in Gamji community, in Bakura, Zamfara State.
He added that the victim was a representative of the district head of Gamji.
He further noted that security operatives have been mobilized to trail the kidnappers and ensure the unconditional release of Dangwaggo.
This is coming less than a month to the conduct of Bakura Local Government by-election for the State House of Assembly scheduled for October 31, 2020.
