Herdsmen: ‘Buhari Behind Genocide In The Middle Belt’ – Fani-Kayode
Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of complicity in the alleged genocide against the middle belt region by marauding Fulani herdsmen.
Fani-Kayode was reacting to a reported attack on Bujum Kasuwa community in Lau Local Government Area of Taraba State on Friday, where three policemen were reportedly killed by suspected herdsmen.

The former minister and stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said in a Facebook post:
“What the Fulani terrorists did to policemen and civilians in Lau LGA of Taraba state yesterday needs to be seen to be believed. I refuse to post the pictures here because they are too graphic. The Middle Belt is being subjected to genocide and Buhari is behind it. Nigerians WAKE UP!
“Why are the names of our soldiers that are killed by Boko Haram not made public and why are they secretly buried in mass graves? How true is it that most of those that are sent to the frontline are southerners and Middle Belt Christians? Nigerians WAKE UP!
“Why do the Fulani militias and terrorists get away with genocide, mass murder and ethnic cleansing? Why have they not been stopped and brought to justice? Why have the Fulani herdsmen and Miyetti Allah not been banned and declared a terrorist organisation? Nigerians WAKE UP!

“If the genocide and ethnic cleansing that the Igbo and the Middle Belt have been subjected to over the years were visited on the Yoruba we would not be talking about one Nigeria today.
“Until you are subjected to genocide and ethnic cleansing yourself you cannot possibly appreciate the pain of its victims and their yearning for freedom. Nigerians WAKE UP!” Fani-Kayode wrote.
