Imo Assembly Okays 12 Commissioner For Uzodinma’s Cabinet
The Imo State House of Assembly has confirmed all the 12 commissioner-nominees sent by the Governor, Hope Uzodinma on Thursday.
Prominent names that were confirmed are the immediate past Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba; immediate past commissioner for works, Ralph Nwosu; and Chimezie Amadi, who was the immediate past commissioner of digital economy and e-govt.

Other nominees include Nkechi Ugwu, Anselm Anyanwu, Dr Chika Abazu, Modestus Osakwe, Cosmos Maduba, the immediate past commissioner for agriculture and natural resources, Major Emenike, immediate past commissioner for environment and Obinna Onyeocha-Everistus.
Before the commencement of the exercise, Mrs. Chinelo Emeghara, who is the Clerk of the House , stated that the governor had submitted a total of 12 names for screening in the initial batch.
Additionally, she mentioned that there are four more names yet to be received, which are anticipated to be included.
Recall that the governor on 16th of January dissolved his cabinet a day after his second term inauguration
