The nomination was submitted by the Chairman, Norwegian delegation to the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation
Parliamentary Assembly, Christian Tybring-Gjedde, Fox News reported on Wednesday.

“For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees.

“As it is expected other Middle Eastern countries will follow in the footsteps of the UAE, this agreement could be a game changer that will turn the Middle East into a region of cooperation and prosperity,” he wrote to the Nobel Committee.

THE WHISTLER earlier reported that the UAE and Israel, under the supervision of the US Government, agreed on August 13 to strengthen bilateral relations, with numerous economic benefits for both countries and the Middle East.
