JUST IN: Uzodinma Sacks Commissioners To ‘Reform’ Government
The Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma has dissolved the state’s executive council.
The dissolution was made known by the Commissioner for Information, Declan Emelumba, after the states executive council meeting on Wednesday.
He said the dissolution by the governor was to reform his government after a year in office.
The dissolution has relieved 20 commissioners of their duties.
But the Commissioner for Information, Declan Emelumba, that of Works, Women Affairs, Technology, Finance, Health, Sports and Tourism all retained their positions.
