Kawu Baraje Finally Dumps APC, Joins Saraki In PDP

Mr Kawu Baraje, leader of the nPDP bloc in the All Progressives Congress (APC), has finally dumped the ruling party for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Baraje, who previously said no amount of “juicy offers” would make he and his followers remain in the APC, officially announced his defection to the PDP on Thursday.

The announcement comes about two weeks after his ally, Senate President Bukola Saraki defected from the APC to the opposition PDP.

To formally announce his defection from the APC, Baraje held a media conference in Ilorin, Kwara State, where he promised to hold a grand defection ceremony.
