Kids Turn Oba Of Lagos Palace To ‘Amusement Park’ After Hoodlums’ Attack
The palace of the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, has been converted to a playground for kids and adults following the monarch’s sacking from the palace by suspected thugs on Wednesday.
Some armed soldiers were said to have evacuated Oba Akiola from the palace after angry youths invaded it in the aftermath of soldiers’ attack on unarmed #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki toll gate on Tuesday night.

Youths in the state had carried out a series of attacks on interests of the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on suspicion that he was involved in the deployment of soldiers to the Lekki toll gate, where soldiers allegedly killed and injured peaceful protesters.
Trending social media videos show that the monarch’s palace situated at Lagos Island had been taken over by kids. Some of the kids were seen having their bath in the personal swimming pool of the monarch.
A young man was also seen standing on Oba Akiolu’s throne, saying: “Who is the Oba of Lagos”
The video also indicated that the palace had been looted by suspected hoodlums.
