Lawan Announces 69 Senate Committees

Senate President, Ahmad Lawan has announced the chairpersons for 69 Senate standing Committees. 

He made the announcement after the screening of President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial list and shortly before he adjourned sitting.

The senate thereafter adjourned sitting until 24th September, 2019.

Some of the committees are Appropriation to be chaired by Barau Jibrin; Finance, Adeola Olamilekan; Police, Dauda Jika; Defence, Aliyu Magatakarda and Army, Ali Ndume; NDDC, Peter Nwabaoshi; Agriculture, Abdullahi Adamu and INEC, Kabiru Gaya.
