Man Defiles 7-Yr-Old In Wife’s Shop In Anambra, Blames Devil

One Ejike Kanu, 33, a native of Elugwu Mkporo in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State, but resides at Umuobom street, Okpoko in Anambra State, was Monday arrested by the police operatives attached to Okpoko division of the state police command for allegedly luring and defiling a seven-year-old girl inside his wife’s shop.

SP Haruna Mohammed, the police public relations officer of the state command, told THE WHISTLER in Awka that police detectives had visited the scene and taken the victim to the hospital for medical examination where penetration was confirmed by a medical doctor.

According to him, “The suspect has voluntarily confessed, and attributed the act to devil’s influences. The case will be transferred to the state’s Criminal Investigation Department for discreet investigations as directed by the state commissioner of police, CP John B. Abang, after which the suspect will be charged to court for prosecution.”
