Obaseki: PDP BoT Chairman Calls For Unity After Edo Primary

Members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  in Edo State have been charged to remain united.

The call was given by the Board of Trustees (BoT) Chairman, Walid Jibrin in a statement on Friday.

Jibrin said following the emergence of Governor Godwin Obaseki as the flagbearer of the party for the September election in the state, there was need for stronger unity.

The BoT chairman felicitated with the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party and the Governors’ Forum of the party for their tireless efforts in bringing Obaseki into the party.

He also appealed to members of the party across the country to take advantage of the current opportunity and form a strong coalition.

Furthermore, he asked them to unite against the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the next general elections.
