A statement by the party’s spokesman, Kola Ologbondiyan, said the ratification was made pursuant to Section 47(6) of the PDP Constitution 2017 (as amended).

Ologbondiyan said Bisi, by this development, would serve the remainder of the tenure of the out-going state chairman in piloting the affairs of the party in Ogun.

He called on leaders and members of the party in the state, the Southwest zone and the nation at large, to “by this ratification, be guided accordingly, as we collectively continue to work in harmony for the good of our nation.”

Recall that the PDP NWC, had on September 29, ratified the sacking of the party’s former chairman, Adesoji Adaggunodo, who was removed from office after a vote of no confidence was passed on him by the state executive.
