THE WHISTLER had reported that Emeziem was impeached on the grounds of alleged abuse of office, forgery, gross misconduct and high-handedness.

This website also reported that at a plenary on Monday, the Imo lawmakers reinstalled the impeached Deputy Speaker of the house, Amarachi Iwuanyanwu.
