Pipeline Explosion In Rivers

A pipeline in the Bodo Section area of Rivers State erupted in flames overnight, with the cause of the fire yet to be determined.

The incident occurred during the night and was spotted by security personnel on routine patrol on March 17th/18th, 2025.

According to reports, the pipeline, located in Zone One (1) of the area, is currently engulfed in fire.

Nine guards were on patrol at the time of the incident and discovered the pipeline ablaze.

Emergency services and relevant authorities have been alerted and are working to contain the fire and determine its cause, according to reports

The primary cause of the fire is still unknown and is currently being investigated.
