‘It’s Silly To Say Cut Off Marks Were Reduced To Stop Nigerians Going Abroad, Ben Bruce Blasts JAMB
Senator representing Bayelsa central, Ben Murray-Bruce, has lambasted the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for stating that the cut-off marks for admission into tertiary institutions were reduced to stop Nigerians from schooling abroad.
In a series of tweet via his twitter handle, the senator further said that if JAMB reduces cut off marks, and the federal government does not increase spaces available in universities, problems will only be created, not solved.
1-It is silly for @JAMBHQ to say they reduced cut off marks to stop Nigerians going abroad. Only Increased education funding will stop that.

2-If @JAMBHQ reduces cut off mark and govt doesn’t increase spaces available in universities we only create problems instead of solving them

3-As long as the FG has not increased the capacity of our universities to absorb more intake, reducing cut off marks won’t have any effect!
