‘You Go After IPOB But Not Killer Herdsmen’ – Apostle Suleiman Faults Buhari’s Body Language

The founder of the Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to tread with caution in view of his recent remarks about the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and killer herdsmen.

THE WHISTLER earlier reported that the presidency accused IPOB of insurrection in the South East and Buhari had given orders to security operatives to deal with them.

“That IPOB is just like a dot in a circle. Even if they want to exit, they will have no access to anywhere,” the president said.

“The way they (Igbos) spread all over country having businesses and property, I think IPOB does not know what they talking about.

“In any case, we will talk to them in the language they understand, we will organise the police and the military to pursue them. That’s what we can do and we will do it,” Buhari said in an interview with Arise Television.

However, regarding the farmer-herders conflict in Benue, Buhari had said that Nigerian Fulani cattle rearers carry only sticks and that the sophisticated ones who carry AK-47 are most likely coming from Mauritania and Central Africa.

“The governor of Benue said I cannot discipline the cattle rearers because I am one of them. I cannot deny that I am one of them,” he added.

But Apostle Suleiman, in a statement on Friday, faulted the presidency’s body language toward the two groups.

“You will go after IPOB? Yet you can’t go after killer herdsmen? IPOB seeks to pull out of a part of Nigeria.

“Killer herdsmen destroy the whole Nigeria. Who should be dealt with urgently? Tread with caution sir.

“They might have no one in power to speak for them, they have GOD…,” he stated.
