BREAKING: Armed Group Kills Zamfara Lawmaker

Suspected bandits have reportedly killed a lawmaker of the Zamfara State House of Assembly, Mohammed Ahmed.

The lawmaker was said to have been killed along Sheme- Funtua Road, a border between Zamfara and Katsina.

The Clerk of the Zamfara House House of Assembly, Saidu Anka, confirmed the incident to Daily Trust.

When THE WHISTLER contacted the Zamfara Police Spokesperson, Mohammed Shehu, he said the command would issue a statement on the issue later in the day.
