BREAKING: Kano COVID-19 Cases Hit 311 As Nigeria Confirms 238 New Infections

Kano State now has a total of 311 Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, according to new figures of infections announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday night.

The NCDC said the country recorded 238 cases on Friday, bringing the total confirmed infections to 2,170.

Out of the 238 new cases, Kano State accounted for 92, FCT 36 while Lagos State recorded 30.

Others are, “Gombe – 16, Bauchi – 10, Delta – 8, Oyo – 6, Zamfara – 5, Sokoto – 5, Ondo – 4, Nasarawa – 4, Kwara – 3, Edo – 3, Ekiti – 3, Borno – 3, Yobe – 3, Adamawa – 2, Niger – 1, Imo – 1, Ebonyi – 1, Rivers – 1, and Enugu – 1.”

The NCDC added that the country recorded 10 new deaths, bringing the total of mortalities from the virus to 68.

The total number of discharged patients stood at 351 as of Friday, May 1, 2020.
