Dr Faisal Shuaib, the agency’s Executive Director, said CHIPS` goal is to make the health care centre a more conducive and accessible place to visit, adding that CHIPS also plans on improving equitable coverage of healthcare.

Shuaib said CHIPS` main focus is to improve the overall healthcare system, especially in maternal, newborn and child survival areas.

The programme will equally be used to fight barriers that prevent people from having easy access to primary healthcare services in rural areas in the state.
