Buhari Sends 2018-2020 Medium-Term Expenditure Framework To Reps

President Muhammadu Buhari has sent the 2018-2020 medium-term expenditure framework and fiscal strategy paper to the House of representatives.

The letter was read by the Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara, during the House plenary on Tuesday.

In the letter, president Buhari stated that the documents were prepared against the backdrop of a generally adverse global economic uncertainty.

The President also appealed to the House to quickly approve that documents in order to bring the 2018 budget preparation process to a timely closure.

The House referred the documents to the Appropriation Committee for consideration.
