Buhari’s Recognition Of Giadom: It’s All Over For Tinubu, Says Fani- Kayode

A former Minister of Aviation,  Femi Fani- Kayode, has said that the  national leader of  the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has lost grip of the party following the recognition of  the  Deputy National Secretary of the party, Victor Giadom, as the acting chairman by President Muhammadu Buhari.

“First Oshiomole is kicked out by the Court of Appeal. Then his preferred replacement, Ajimobi, falls into a coma. Then his arch rival, Giadom, is recognised by Buhari as Nat. Chairman.

“Conclusion: it is over for Tinubu. He has been thrown under the bus & retired from politics!,” Kayode said.

There has been contention over the chairmanship of the APC after an appeal court upheld the removal of former party chairman, Adams Oshiomohle and  the National Working Committee of the party  endorsed  indisposed  Abiola Ajimobi as acting chairman . However, dissenting Victor Giadom  declared himself as the rightful acting chairman and has summoned a virtual.National Executive Council meeting of the party.
Affirming Buhari’s support for Giadom, the presidency said it, “has received very convincing advice on the position of the law as far as the situation in the party is concerned and has determined that the law is on the side of Victor Giadom as Acting National Chairman.

“Because he will always act in accordance with the law, the President will be attending the virtual meeting Giadom called for tomorrow afternoon,” the presidency stressed.
