Pochettino made two changes to the team that lost 4-1 to Liverpool, with Christopher Nkunku and Malo Gusto starting.

The Blues took the lead through Cole Palmer with a clinical finish in the 18-yard box following a pin-point assist from Moises Caicedo in the 19th minute.

Three minutes later, Wolves responded with Cunha’s effort deflecting off Thiago Silva to beat Petrovic.

The visitors took the lead just before halftime when Rayan Ait-Nouri deflected off Axel Disasi to make it 2-1 going into the lead.

Cunha added his second goal to make it 3-1 before completing his hat-trick from the penalty spot after he was brought down by Gusto.

Thiago Silva scored a late header to make it 4-2, but Wolves held on for a priceless victory at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea fans have taken to social media to demand the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino after two losses in the space of four days.

Tweet Chelsea said Pochettino is so soft, and he is the reason behind Chelsea’s poor form and wants him sacked.

He tweeted, “Poch is so soft, no wonder we aren’t a serious side.Get him gone and get someone serious in. We aren’t going anywhere with this guy.”

Asad Ali believes Pochettino has lost the support of the fanbase.

He stated, “There’s no way Poch is coming back from this. He lost the support of the majority of the fanbase to the point beyond relief. There’s no repairing this relationship with the fans. The sooner he goes, the better. It’s too toxic, and it’s best he parts ways.”

Felix Johnston slammed Pochettino for lack of identity and game management.

He wrote,”It is very simple, Pochettino has to go, no style of play, identity, in-game management, same mistakes over and over and it’s gone completely flat. This is not Chelsea Football Club. His standards and ability are too low.”

Meanwhile, Pochettino has apologised to all Chelsea fans for the defeat against Wolves.

Pochettino said: “Of course I understand the feeling. We are Chelsea, and we need to accept that they want to win. They want the best.

“Yes, they feel disappointed, I apologise from the team because I think they feel disappointed like us.”

The defeat leaves Chelsea in 11th with 31 points from 23 matches, while Wolves 32 points from same number of games to sit 10th on the log.

Chelsea fans will be hoping for immediate response when they take on Aston Villa in the FA Cup fifth round replay on Wednesday.
