Court Upholds Removal Of Ali-Modu Sheriff As PDP Chairman

A Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has upheld the removal of Senator Ali-Modu Sheriff as Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The Judgemnt was upheld by Justice Mohammed Liman who made the verdict in a suit brought to the court by the PDP leadership.

Liman stated that the National Convention which removed Sheriff as chairman of the party was legal.
