UPDATED: 536 In Lagos As Nigeria Records 1,400 New COVID-19 Cases

Lagos has recorded 536 cases of COVID-19 and a total of 1,400 infections across 23 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The new record released on Thursday night showed other locations with high number of infections as FCT (129), Anambra (87) and Rivers (82).

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), a total of 127,560 cases of the virus have been confirmed in the country.

Also, 1,146 persons got discharged on Thursday, taking the total of infected persons to 101,511.

The NCDC said total deaths rose to 1,550 after six persons died from the virus on Thursday.
