Board Chairman, Stephen Odey said the exercise became very necessary following the discoveries of teachers with fake certificates, ghost workers and the fact that most teachers employed about 12 years ago, had passed on without replacement.

Mr Odey maintained that the present administration is on a rescue mission in the Educational Sector beginning from the foundation, a process which will begin with the employment of professionals.

According to Mr. Odey, applicants will be subjected to vigorous aptitude test, oral interview and verification of certificates before they can be employed.

Some applicants commended the process which according to them is orderly while others sued for flexibility in one of the employment requirements which has to do with age.
