Edo Poll: PDP Worried By Widespresd Acceptance Of Our Candidate Ize-Iyamu – APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has reacted to the earlier allegation by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that it plans to obtain extra INEC result sheets to rig the Edo State governorship election.

According to a statement issued by its Spokesman, Yekini Nabena, the PDP is panicky due to widespread acceptance and support the people of Edo state have given to the APC governorship candidate, Osagie Ize-Iyamu in the lead up to the September 19th poll.

Nabena said as a result of this, the PDP has “resorted to childish and comical conspiracies.”

The APC spokesman maintained that for the party, it is “one person, one vote.”

He said the PDP’s “stock-in-trade is
procurement of result sheets, cloning of PVCs, stealing card readers, vote buying, voter intimidation and other election fraud.”

Furthermore, he said the APC’s people-focused development records are visible to all, adding that the people are ready to make the “right and progressive choice, come September 19.”

He added “We reiterate that our security services must do everything to stop the PDP’s plan to unleash violence, intimidate voters and buy votes during the election.

“Come September 19, votes will count and the will of the Edo electorate will prevail.”
