Energy Drinks More Dangerous Than Indian Hemp, NDLEA Says

The National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Adamawa Command has declared energy drinks to be more hazardous than Indian hemp.

Speaking at a one-day lecture on Leadership Qualities, Good Governance and Effects of Drugs on Society, in Yola, the Commander of the Agency, Yakubu Kibo expressed concern over the high influx of energy drinks into the state.

“The NDLEA, Adamawa Command, is disturbed over the high and frequent influx of energy drinks into the state.

“Some of these energy drinks are illicit and hazardous and are more dangerous than Indian hemp.”

However, Kibo urged citizens to avoid energy drinks as it is the major cause of 80 per cent of all conflicts and crises globally with Nigeria inclusive.
