FIFA President, Gianni Infantino Secretary-General Samoura Arrive Nigeria

FIFA President Gianni Infantino, and Secretary General Fatma Samoura, on Sunday arrived in Nigeria’s capital city, Abuja on a two–day working visit.

They were received by the President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick, as well as members of the NFF Board.

On arrival, the duo were treated to a brief display by a cultural troupe at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, before a group photograph with members of the NFF executive committee.

According tom Complete Sports, a total of 17 FA presidents from Africa are in Nigeria for this event and will be meeting with the FIFA President and Secretary General later on Sunday. These are Kwesi Nyantakyi (Ghana), Lamin Kaba Bajo (The Gambia), Isha Johansen (Sierra Leone), Musa Bility (Liberia), Juneidi Basha Tilmo (Ethiopia), Nicholas Kithuku (Kenya), Andrew Chamanga (Zambia), Philip Chiyangwa (Zimbabwe), Frans Mbidi (Namibia), Chabur Goc Alei (South Sudan), Walter Nyamilandu (Malawi), Abdiqani Said Arab (Somalia), Vincent Nzamwita (Rwanda), Moses Magogo (Uganda), Jamal Malinzi (Tanzania), Augustin Senghor (Senegal) and Souleman Waberi (Djibouti).

Mr. Infantino and Ms Samoura, led by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Barr. Solomon Dalung and NFF President Pinnick will pay a courtesy call on President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa On Monday.

Also on Monday, the FIFA President will meet with guests at an under-13 exhibition football match at the Abuja National Stadium, before flying out of the country.
