Gunmen Abduct 21 Commuters In Kaduna
About 21 commuters have been reportedly abducted along Kaduna-Kachia road, Kajuru Local Government Area, (LGA) in the state.
According to reports, the armed group had abducted the victims between Kurmin-Idon and Doka while on a journey from Kaduna to Kachia.

A source who pleaded anonymity told the HumAngle that the axis used to be an armed groups’ enclave, and said recent casualties along the road were up to 21.
However, the Kaduna government has disputed the claim.
Reacting to the incident, the State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, said only two were abducted.
Aruwan added that the abducted victims had also been rescued by the police.

“The police gave the bandits a hot chase and rescued the two victims, while one other victim was able to escape on his own,” Aruwan said.
Kaduna has become a hotbed for kidnapping where the safety of residents and travellers are at the mercy of kidnappers.
