‘If You Leave Me, Water Go Carry You’ Chioma Tells Davido On 26th Birthday

Chioma Avril Rowland, the girlfriend of popular Nigerian musician, Davido, has lightheartedly cautioned that an unpleasant thing would happen to the singer should he ever jilt her for another woman.

Borrowing a line from Davido’s hit song ‘Assurance’ which was obviously inspired by their affection for each other, Chioma said “water go carry you o” if the singer dares walk out on their relationship.

Davido, who clocked 26 years of age on Wednesday, does not hesitate to flaunt his girlfriend to the world at the slightest opportunity.

Taking to her Instagram page to send a birthday message to the singer, Chioma wrote, “Happy birthday hubby. If you leave me, water go carry you o. God bless you my love. You’re so annoying but I’d choose you to annoy me for life.”

Chioma and Davido’s relationship became a sensation in April after the singer bought his girlfriend a Porsche said to worth N45 million bearing “Assurance” as the plate number.
