Insecurity: Buhari, Buratai Hold Another Meeting

President Muhammadu Buhari and the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen Tukur Buratai, have just held a meeting.

THE WHISTLER learnt that the closed-door meeting examined security challenges in the country, amid renewed attacks by insurgents and rising cases of banditry, kidnapping.

The meeting took place at the State House, Abuja.

Bandits continue to attack communities in the country, particularly in the north-west, despite many operations launched by the military and other security agencies to contain them.

Buratai spoke briefly with State House Correspondents after the meeting, and called on Nigerians to cooperate with security agencies to enable to succeed in the war against insecurity.
