Bashir said this was based on the insight given by the presidential taskforce on COVID-19, that domestic flights were expected to resume on same day.

He said “Interstate movement may resume on June 21, the National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Dr. Sani Aliyu, gave the hint recently, as domestic flights expected to also resume on June 21.”

Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari had on April 27th, declared a ban on interstate travels, in a measure to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

The ban however, excluded movement of essential commodities.
