JUST IN: Emma Aguma, Rivers Attorney-General, Is Dead

Chief Emmanuel Chinwenwo Aguma, Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice of Rivers State, has reportedly died on Friday.

Aguma, who previously served as the Secretary and Chairman of the Port Harcourt branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), died after taking to brief illness, according to multiple sources.

He was appointed Attorney-General by Governor Nyesom Wike in 2015.

Until his death, Aguma was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
