JUST IN: New NNPC Board Inaugurated
A new board for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has been inaugurated.
THEWHISTLER had reported that President Muhammadu Buhari approved the reconstitution of the Board of the NNPC, after the expiration of the term of the board members appointed in 2016.

The members of the new Board include Mohammed Lawal (North West), Tajudeen Umar (North East), Adamu Mahmood Attah (North Central), Senator Magnus Abe (South South), Dr Stephen Dike (South East), and Chief Pius Akinyelure (South West).
The board, chaired by the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva, also has the Group Managing Director of the NNPC, Mele Kyari and the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Finance,Mahmoud Isa Dutse as statutory members.
