Kyari Attributes Reduction In PMS Theft To Intervention Of Security Agencies

The Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mallam Mele Kyari, has attributed the reduction in the smuggling of premium motor spirit (PMS) to the interventions of the security agencies in the country.

The NNPC GDM disclosed this via his official twitter page on Saturday, where he said the corporation noted significant drop in PMS evacuation from fuel depots since August 22nd.

Recall that kyari has been seeking increased partnership between the NNPC and security agencies in the country on security of the nation’s oil asset.

The Nigerian Navy and the DSS, among others, had recently pledged to deepen collaboration with the NNPC to tackle the menace of crude oil theft and attacks on oil and gas facilities.
