Acting President Yemi Osinbajo’s media aide, Laolu Akande, has rebuffed the statement by Information Minister, Lai Mohammed that the Presidency was undecided on who should sign the 2017 budget.

Mohammed had said the decision on who should assent to the budget was still lying between President Muhammadu Buhari, who’s currently on medical vacation in London and Acting President Yemi Osinbajo.

But Laolu, who spoke via his Twitter handle, clarified that the Acting President will sign the N7.441 trillion 2017 Appropriation Bill into law “when everything is set”.
