Official: Inter Milan Announce Simone Inzaghi As New Coach

International Milan has officially announced Simone Inzaghi as new coach.

Antonio Conte’s shocking departure from the club after negotiating a €7.5m severance pay with Inter had led to a scout for his replacement.

SS Lazio’s former boss Inzaghi was unveiled by the Seria A champions on Thursday.

Inzaghi, 45, has been at Lazio since the past five years and took them back to the Champions League for the first since the  2007/08 season.

“FC Internazionale Milano would like to welcome Simone Inzaghi to the Club, as our new First Team Coach: the Italian manager has signed a two-year deal with the Nerazzurri,” said the club.

As part of the drama in Europe, Massimiliano Allegri just returned to Juventus after the sack of Andrea Pirlo who could only get the club qualify for the Champions League.

Zinedine Zidane’s departure from Real Madrid also led to the return of Carlo Ancelotti.
